Hi, Today i am due to receive one of these <$200 tabs and am going to give an little bit of insite into how they actually perform. Hopefully it wont disappoint and ill actually be able to recommend the device as an alternative to maybe paying 400-500 for one.
Either way its a new toy for me to play with over the next few days....

Last FM Free
Well first off let me just say how disapointed i am with Last.FM. when i first discovered this service on my Xbox 360 a couple of years ago i was kind of amazed at the service it offered. Essentially turning my xbox into a giant Ipod Shuffle with pictures and an endless supply of streamed music.
Imagine my joy when i bought my first android device last year and discovered my whole library and stations had been imported onto my phone, with no need to save any music. Last.FM's official app had to be one of my most used on my first HTC wildfire. As well as having all my "Hot Joints" on the go, it meant i didnt have to use any of the small SD card that came standard. Leaving more space for me to fill with photos of me posing in my bathroom mirror!
So getting to the point imagine my Immense disappointment when i found out upon purchasing a cheap Samsung Galaxy, after downloading Last.FM im greeted by a message telling me "LAST.FM is no longer a free service and costs 3.99 per month/year" (didnt pay much attention when it asked me for money). So after my 50 track trial i was no longer able to use my service or keep my playlist unless i pay.
NOW FINALLY, i came across an app called LAST FM FREE on BLACKMART ALPHA. This isnt the same as LAST FM in the sense it downloads the music to your phone. To me its more like Limewire for your phone but without all the illicit material and viruses.
The way it works it has an easy to use interface all you have to do is type an artists name, the app then promptly comes up with all information in different tabs. So for instance i downloaded a Royce Da 5'9 song. I was able to read his biography whilst downloading single tracks or a full album.
The App itself is very stable, and the best part is you can add the songs to your normal player which you cant with LAST.FM (shame on you charging your loyal fanbase).
It works great over Wireless or 3g networks, the latter being my preference obviously id do most my downloading out and about. I fully recommend anybody who is using there device for Media to stop what there doing and download this app.

BLACKMART ALPHA
Blackmart Alpha in my opinion is best describe as an alternative to the Official Android Market. Along with containing a lot of the official apps, it also boasts a large ammount of paid apps (gratis) and some other third party apps which are not submitted at all to the the official market. Although a little glitchy. I have never really had a problem with this application as long as you regularly clear the cache on your device. My only real issue with this app is that some of the content is from different regions. I myself live in the UK. Theres nothing worse than playing a premium game in japanese, although i imagine FRUITNINJA it may add to the authenticity.
The app itself has an easy to use interface. It even makes you aware of updates on supported official apps such as Facebook, Twitter, Last.FM etc.

Hello and welcome to the Android Third Party blog. I aim to deliver my advice, opinions, relevant information and where possible download links for Apps and Software for your Android phone not necessarily covered by the Official Android Market.
